If you’re looking to switch some of your products to less toxic ones, you may be wondering where to buy them. With so many options and stores out there, it can be overwhelming! Let me save you the time and headache, and check out the best online retailers that I’ve found (and use myself!) here!
P.S. for my American readers out there, most of these websites also ship to the U.S. with free shipping options, so don’t let this stop you from checking out these awesome sites!
There are a huge number of natural product “influencers” out there who will tell you what products to buy, but the majority of them are American and often promote products that are really hard to get in Canada because of expensive shipping costs, limited availability, etc. Well look no further, because here are the best places to buy natural products in Canada.
A word of caution: In putting together this list, which includes some of my favourite brands available at each of these retailers, I was surprised to find a good number of “natural” products/brands containing ingredients I prefer to avoid. When in doubt, I recommend sticking to the specific brands I mention. With that said, most of the brands sold at these retailers are still going to be a much better choice than the major brands found at big box stores.
Well.ca (their ‘Green & Natural’ category)
Well.ca has been my go-to online retailer for quite some time. They carry almost everything from organic pantry staples to natural cleaning products, supplements, and non-toxic makeup. And with free shipping on orders over $35, it’s extremely easy to get free shipping. They are always the first place I look when I’m shopping for something new or a favourite product. Shipping is fast and they have great customer service. This is a great place to look if you are needing a variety of items as you can get non-toxic food, cleaning products, body care products, baby products, all from one place!
Note: They do carry some “conventional” brands as well that I don’t recommend, so stick to their “green and natural” categories for more natural brands. Be sure to read the ingredient lists!
Some of my favourite brands to get from here are:
- AspenClean
- Badger
- Carina Organics
- Green Beaver
- K’Pure
- Oneka
- Sapadilla
The Green Jungle Beauty Shop
With free shipping over $75 in Canada, and tons of amazing products to choose from, this is a great place to buy natural skincare and makeup. They even sell natural kid’s and baby clothing (like made with organic cotton). Their main focus is in beauty products, so they have a larger selection of products from certain brands.
A few of my favourite brands to purchase from them are:
- 100% Pure
- Bkind
- Leahlani Skincare
- Living Libations
- Live Botanical
- Sienna Byron Bay
Pure Anada
Pure Anada is a brand rather than a typical online market, however I’m including them on this list because of the large range of products & brands you can buy from their website. Not only do they sell their own amazing products of makeup, skincare, and cleaning products, but they also sell products from a bunch of my favourite natural brands.
They even sell 100% mulberry silk pillow cases and beeswax candles! Shipping is free for orders over $75, so it’s easy to shop here!
Some of my favourite brands to buy from here:
- Anointment
- Carina Organics
- Dr. Brite

The Detox Market
The Detox Market focuses on luxury skincare and makeup.

Natura Market
Natura Market is similar to well.ca, being a one-stop shop with a focus on natural food products, but also offer a small selection in personal care products and home/cleaning products. Unlike well.ca, they are fully committed to selling only natural products, so they don’t carry any brands that are super bad for you. It’s easy to get free shipping as orders over $59 ship free!
They have some awesome products that are hard to find elsewhere! Some of the brands I recommend that are available here are:
- Aunt Fannie’s
- ChocXO
- Cocokind
- Dr. Bronner’s
- Mekhala (organic curry pastes)
- Molly’s Suds
- Simply Organic
Craving Wellness
This is a relatively new website with a smaller selection of brands available. Let’s hope they continue to expand their product offerings! Some of my favourite brands available here:
- Cymbiotika
- Earth Harbor
- Just Ingredients
The Balanced Market
The Balanced Market was created with the goal of making natural products easily available to Canadians. They source products made in the US so Canadians can buy them duty free! Their website focus is on wellness products such as supplements, as well as cleaning products, body care, and skincare. They have some really great products here!
Some of my favourite brands available here:
- Biofulvic
- Branch Basics
- Just Ingredients
- Risewell
- Rowe Casa Organics
- Safertech
Spud– (B.C. and Alberta)
Spud is a grocery delivery service with a focus on supporting local, organic products. If you live in British Columbia or Alberta, Spud.ca is a great one-stop shop for groceries and most of your household needs. They even have organic garden seeds, supplements, and non-toxic makeup. Some of the awesome brands available here are:
- AspenClean
- Carina Organics
- Dr. Bronner’s
- Elate Cosmetics
- Oneka
- Rocky Mountain Soap Co
- Routine
- ZuZu Luxe
